The revival of Italian violin making in the 20th century was closely linked to the four stars of this retrospective, who became reference points for entire generations of instrument makers, whether their students at the Cremona and Parma violin-making schools or simply imitators of their creative style.
The work of these extraordinary craftsmen today represents consciousness and personality, quality and professionalism. This new gallery offers a direct encounter with the maestros and an exploration of their different artistic and professional paths, from their first steps to international fame.
